Sports Leave Entitlement

Applies to: all TP7 team

Overview

Permanent team members who have been with Torpedo7 for at least one years' continuous service and who have been selected to represent New Zealand in sport may apply in writing for representative sports leave.

Should the application be accepted, you will be eligible for assistance up to and including five days' maximum sports leave per annum. Your manager may grant unpaid leave for preparation for the event at his/her discretion (or annual leave may be taken for part or all of this period). Once approved, the assistance provided will be reviewed periodically and may be altered or cancelled at the Company's discretion. Assistance will cease should you no longer be selected to represent NZ.

How can I apply for sports leave?

You can apply for sports leave by logging into MyPay, selecting 'My Leave' from the menu on the left hand side, clicking on the 'New Request' tab, and submitting a request for sports leave. If you are in a store, you would need to apply for sports leave by completing the leave form found in store and giving it to your manager. Documentary evidence from the Sports Officiating Body and a full explanation must be given to your manager whether you are applying through MyPay or completing a leave form in store.
